The Haunted Mansion

This movie is fun. But ....... Another movie I have already bought “to add to my collection” of movies that has been taken out of my library and now available to purchase again. I’m especially not going to be buying any new movies at the new high prices if they can just be taken away at any time after the purchase. I want to be able to buy the movie and just like the hardcopy that you pay full price for in the store it better still be there when I go to watch it even if it’s ten to forty years from now. If I had known removing movies was going to be a regular practice I never would’ve bought my first digital movie from any service. What a serious waste of money.

It is too scary for a PG movie. It is not for the whole the whole family.

It's so cheesy and weird but it's good. I love it and watch it year round. Give it a chance.

Wow! People have been going around saying that movie sucked but after I watched this, my head blew. I loved it! 👍🏻

Foolish Mortals - why did you do this to us? The only reason this doesn’t have a half star is because of Eddie Murphy, who brings his A game to an F script. I gained a new admiration for the legendary comedian, who surely realized this was a mess but put his best foot forward regardless. Unsure what kind of comedy it is, Haunted Mansion takes a wealth of source material and buries 95% of it in the mausoleum. It’s a bizarre fever dream of random story elements that doesn’t know who it should cater to- an intro sequence shows a man’s suicide while a later sequence shows singing ceramic heads being silly. Here’s hoping that we one day get the Haunted Mansion we deserve.

I absolutely love this movie. I actually got it for $5.99. I was so stoked. It’s a great movie. Not for $18 though. Still an absolute favorite & always watch it before we go to Disney Land too. & watch it in the hotel as well. It’s so fun.

This movie could have been incredible...but it’s not. It is awful. Too scary for very young 3-7 yr. old kids yet so predictable and dull-with such moronic dialogue and terrible acting-that it renders the whole mess virtually unwatchable for older viewers. Who on earth thought casting comedic actor Eddie Murphy was a good idea for this film? It wasn’t. Is this a comedy family film or PG horror movie? It never quite decides. If you love the ride, you will hate this. If you have never been on the ride you will hate this. If you have nothing else to do and it is either this or flossing your teeth and doing laundry-floss and do the laundry. It’s an enormous flaming bag of poo.

I am a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion ride in DisneyWorld, and I kept seeing things in this movie that I recognized from the ride. This movie is super funny and a little spooky, and great for a family movie night. I love this movie SO MUCH and I recommend it 💯%!!!!!
