Everywhere else has it in HD. Other than that, its an excellent movie.

The Fly was one of those 1950's sci-fi films that wasn't like any other. In the 50's, you generally have some strange monster on the loose. However, this one is unique because it doesn't do that. Instead, it is relying on the human drama and I like that. I love how they never show the Fly's face until the end, which just adds more atmosphere to the movie. Also, this film is in color. The acting is great for everyone's part, especially Vincent Price. Now, as for the sequel....it goes for the more monster on the loose kind of story and is in black and white, but still has Vincent Price. The remake of this film is to this film as John Carpenter's The Thing is to the original (which I am still wondering why it's not there on the store) and the Wolfman remake is to the original......it retells the story, but in a way that does not insult the guys who actually watched the original and not to mention tells a great version of it as well. But, just like these three remakes I always like the original better. So, check it out. You won't regret it.

A true classic! Well written and acted with an original (for its time) story line. Gives a lasting visual anytime you hear the words "HELP ME".

This is a briliant sci-fi thriller for its time and a much watch, but iTunes charges a bit much for it. If you can survive without having it in your iPod try looking at vidio stores for a copy you should be able to find one cheaper or a special edition.
  • Brilliant, brilliant movie.
