From characters being randomly thrown in and introduced, to an unappealing set of chemistry between the main characters, I feel that despite its attempt at originality, it failed overall. A good sequel can bring back many good and loved characters, which despite bringing back some in this film, many other important ones were missed. Where is the true “Great Owl”? Where is the classical glowing eyes of the evil wild animals who wish to eat the main characters? Where is the message of the original film? I had high hopes for this movie, but in the end, I was let down.
  • This is what bad fanfiction thinks The Secret of NIMH is.

I hate this sequel and it is the worst sequel I’ve ever seen, not only it’s the worst sequel I’ve ever seen, it’s one of the worst movies I’ve seen in my entire life, the only positive I can say about it, is Eric Idle, but that is no excuse for Martin being a bad villain, Timmy was the worst character in the movie, and one of the worst heroes ever, Mrs. Brisby did a lot of accomplishments to save her family and the Rats of NIMH, but no, they denied it all, and for the record, the music is one of the worst soundtracks I’ve ever heard, and on top of that, there’s the fact that there were little to no connections to Rasco and the Rats of NIMH, speaking of, Jenner wasn’t mentioned in this movie, Miss Right never appeared in this movie, and to top it all off, Rasco, the 2nd book’s protagonist is not in this movie, this sequel is horrible, and I don’t recommend it.

Look, I know this film is a disgrace to the original masterpiece, but trust me there are worse films. When the film was created, the writers failed to seek creative direction from Don Bluth. If they did, the film could've done better.

This movie is awful. Why, because mrs. Brisby is barely even in this film.
  • I can't even get past the opening sequence...

out of all of the Don Bluth sequels not made by don bluth, this one is the most disgraceful of them all. I was un fortunate enough to get this trash wraped up along with the masterpiece that is the original Don Bluth film. If you're like me who purchased a double feature cartoon pack of the Secret of NIMH at the store do your self a favor, watch the original, and pretend that there was never a second. Even Don Bluth him self said that he is confuse why there was a second film. You don't have to take my word for it, there are plenty others who will talk about this and you will get the same. DO NOT WATCH.
