Description

Wealthy teenager Charlie Bartlett (Anton Yelchin) is failing miserably at fitting in at a new public high school run by the world-weary Principal Gardner (Robert Downey, Jr.). As he begins to better understand the social hierarchy, Charlie's honest charm and likeability positions him as the resident "psychiatrist" dishing out advice, and the occasional prescription, to his fellow students in need. Along the way, he decides to take some of his own advice, thus wielding a witty dark comedy about the angst-filled years before college.

R.I.P. Anton Yelchin. You will forever be missed. This was a great movie of teen angst and wanting to fit in. This movie showed that everyone has problems and how each person individually deals with them. There were some serious parts and some funny parts. Great movie overall. Anton was a great actor and Robert is also a great actor. I would definitely recommend this movie.

A fantastic and original film with superb acting. Anton Yelchin does a phenomenal job in this movie and makes me want much more from him. Robert Downey Jr. is superb as always. Take a little bit of your time and watch something that’s actually worth it.

The first time I watched the movie the first 30 min. were a bit confusing and the plot seemed to go everywhere. But by the middle I was hooked and the climax of the film really took things in a great turn. The second time I watched it I realized it's confusing because it's two stories on top of each other and it's hard to hold on to both, but like I said by the middle you will be hooked. From the beginning this movie has great characters that people can relate to or just love, overall it's a great movie

I rarely bail on movies, but I had to turn this one off for the corn ball effect that was making knots in my stomach. Not so hot.

Truly amazing. I couldn't stop talking to my friends about it. This is the kind of movie that you will want to see and not get let down when you see it. So, if you are reading this and are going to buy this then higher your expectations for something amazing. I almost cried. - The Person Who Wrote The Thing That You Are Reading.

This films displays the hard times that teenagers can have due to aspects of school and it's society, and also the toll it takes on parents. Robert Downey, Jr. is moving as a father and a principal in this movie! Watch it!
