Description

Mark Wahlberg stars as a man who takes his family on the run when a natural disaster threatens to end civilization.     If The Lady In The Water was the warning sign, then The Happening is the beginning of the end for M. Night Shyamalan. An awful script, horrible acting and a poorly executed concept mark the opening to an unofficial trilogy—The Fall of Night. But I suppose one upside of this is that....it is absolutely hilarious. The funniest fail of a movie you will ever see. I totally recommend it if you are looking for a laugh. 2/10

    While Lady in the Water isn’t horrible, you think THAT film is better than this? The only thing wrong with The Happening is cringe acting, which, is kind of funny. The plot was amazing! But, Lady in the Water is a MESS. The plot was messed up, and Bryce’s character was boring. Yes, it was a mysterious and spiritual movie, but you got to admit, it was very strange. At least The Happening was built on solid ground.

    Okay..... The Happening was painful more painful then after earth. M. Night Shamaylan needs to quit directing movies because he is setting the bar lower, lower and lower. The Happening is confusing and poorly acted in it's own atomsphere. The characters in the movie even with Mark Wahlberg who is terrible in this film are barley unlikable. Don't watch this it's the worst movies ever made.

    Oh don't get me wrong, it's a HORRIBLE movie. But if you know going in to look at it as a comedy, it's actually hilarious. The acting, writing, and story are SO bad, it's a movie you have to see to believe. It's actually hard to comprehend that a human made this. A great "so bad it's good" movie.

    M. Night Shyamalan has Strange and fantastic stories and as much as I like Mark Wahlberg, I think he kind of brings the movie down a little bit not the greatest actor, but still a great story and concept!

    I feel like this movie was very confusing but great because I like the acting the people and all that stuff also it’s very interesting maybe if it was quite not that confusing I’d give it a 5 but it still is fine but it’s not rated R for violent and disturbing images it’s for launguage too at some point at the movie and maybe they can make a remake if they want! Great but confusing
