Babes on Broadway is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney are perfect for each other. The songs are amazing, the costumes are fenominal, and the plot is exelent!!!!! Although the song "Bomb Shell over Brazil" could have been more daziling, it's still great. Miss Garland has an AMAZING voice which makes the songs more beautiful. Babes on Broadway: One 'O' the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are a fan of musicals, then you will find this one very entertaining, and well worth the buy! Look for the Hoe Down sequence it's one of the best!

i really like these movies but i wouldnt buy them for $10 i would buy them for $5 .

If you enjoyed Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney's "black face" routine in BABES IN ARMS, look no further. Once again, the otherwise charming MGM format is sullied by this hateful baloney. Heartbreaking.

The third installment of the famous Mickey Rooney/Judy Garland "putting on a show" musical series has a great score by Burton Lane, including the classic "How About You". Directed by Busby Berkeley with his trademark kinetic energy in the glossy, early forties MGM style- Babes On Broadway includes several big musical numbers and an opulent finale, all filmed in glorious black and white. Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland are in their talented prime as a pair of struggling Broadway hopefuls. At the time this film was made, they were two of the biggest box-office draws in the world. Hopefully iTunes will make their other classic musicals available soon!
