Description

Blast off on a high-powered adventure starring Peter Strauss as a galactic bounty hunter menaced by a mechanical madman. It is the year 2136 and Wolff (Strauss), while answering a distress signal from Terra Eleven, agrees to rescue three beautiful maidens from the plague-ridden planet. When the women are kidnapped by henchmen of Overdog (Michael Ironside), the wicked half-man/half-machine who rules the planet, Wolff takes off in hot pursuit. As he challenges assorted monsters and mutants, circumstances throw Wolff together with Niki (Molly Ringwald), a spunky waif who agrees to guide him to Overdog's scrap-metal kingdom. Wolff's exploits in the Forbidden Zone are packed with extra-terrestrial thrills, plus special effects guaranteed to dazzle you.

Space Hunter, one of the best movies of the early 80's. It was pure s.f. with lots of great actors in it. I own the d.v.d.

This was a terrible movie! I rented it based on the fact that Peter Strauss was in it. Mr. Strauss' career must've been in a free fall or maybe he needed money desperately because, calling this movie bad, is an understatement!

This movie is a waste of time and it is God aweful, I just love it so much. Every time I watch this flick another brain cell dies and everytime it keeps getting better and better, the first time I saw this was back when 3D was cool and they didn't get up the but for watching it in 3D. Everyone should watch this flick a few times.

Good old fashioned sci-fi without any cgi. This is when we had to make sets and such. Great classic cult flick.

Good old fashioned red and blue glasses. I saw this in 3d when I was about 8 or 9. It was actually a fun little action move. I rather enjoyed and if your nostaligiac for some good action 80's sci fi with ok acting and story at least give it a rent.

This is a good adventure flick that is worth checking out, if not to see Molly Ringwald play something other than Pritty in Pink. I won't devulge details of the story (you can read them up above) but it is a typical damsil in distress story and the main character is a dead ringer for Spike Spegal in Cowboy Bebop. Good music, decent visuals for the time and imaginative sets with intresting cast of characters make this a good watch. Check it out.
