Like everybody, I knew the Thin Man films and already loved Myrna and William. I had not, however, heard of Double Wedding. After one veiwing, it moved straight to the top of my Powell/Loy list. It it absolutely hilarious throughout!

As much as I love Powell and Loy together in the "Thin Man" movies, I think this is my favorite one of them together. But I watched "Evelyn Prentice" and I thought that one was my favorite movie of them together. Well, they are both my favorites because "Evelyn Prentice" is a drama and I've never seen them together like that. It is an excellent movie all around and "Double Wedding" is my favorite Powell/Loy comedy. This movie had me laughing so hard! Watch both of them!

William Powell and Myrna Loy are at there tops in this one! You will find hilarity in every second! Fantastic acting and great dialogue from the vaults of Old Hollywood!

This was such a fantastic movie! I enjoyed every minute of this light-hearted, wacky screwball comedy- it has a touch of the "You Csn't Take it With You" to it-- bravo, what a gem.

Can't watch this one enough! It's one of those rare classics no one has heard of and it's just amazingly funny. Of course, it helps if you are familiar with the William Powell/Myrna Loy match-up, easily the best chemistry of any couple on the silver screen EVER! Catch one of "The Thin Man" movies and you'll see it for yourself. "Double Wedding" works in that they appear to hate each other initially, a classic love story/comedy plot, but the chemistry is still there. Thanks iTunes for making this available! Also, "Libeled Lady"! Another great one with the same couple! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I loved this movie it was so funny!!! If you loved the Thin Man series you will love them in this movie!! Once I started watching it I couldn't stop it was that good!!! Hilarious!! They just don't make movies like this anymore!!! mrich
