Believing her husband to be dead, a flyer's wife bargains with his former love to adopt the woman's baby in this well-made romance starring Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Bette Davis ("All About Eve," "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?"). Oscar-winner Mary Astor ("The Maltese Falcon") and George Brent ("42nd Street") are among the talented cast that make this film so enjoyable. Astor's performance won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
