Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same

I saw this tour when it came to Indianapolis, classic Zeppelin. It certainly brings those of us who lived through the 70's back. The movie drags at parts and can be somewhat disjointed but if you came for live Zeppelin you came to the right place.

Does anyone know if this has the DVD extras? extra song footage? Thanks!

You can listen to the albums over and over on your little speakers and you will never get the feeling of the Hammer of the Gods, you need to put this on your Surround Sound and your big TV, and turn that baby up to 11, something happens that you have never heard or experienced before, Led Zeppelin comes to life, the music is different, especially here, when really loud. The albums are one thing, but when they were live, it was really loud and you could feel the music throughout your body and soul! This is the only way to remotely get a "feel" for what it was like to see magic, and Zep was all about feeling. It was the stuff dreams are made of, it was big, it had more colors than you've ever seen, but most of all, it was all encompassing!

If you're a Zep fan, you owe it to yourself to get this movie. The "feel" of this movie from the opening sequence to the strange but wonderful fantasy scenes to the concert footage has a sense of nostalgia and mystery, and it fits perfectly with the band's music.

Never gets old. This is how it's done.

This is absolutely without a doubt the greatest thing to have ever been filmed. A pure treasure.

Loved this as a kid growing up. I wore out the VHS. Super stoked to have it in HD now on my laptop!! This is a great piece of rock & roll history!!

If any rock documentry is to be exhaulted,then this bit of history is one of the best.From the opening scene portraying Richard Cole & Peter Grants as mob hitmen to the actual concert footage with the live overdrawn rendition of "Dazed and Confused" You will love almost every minute of this show as much as the Beatles movies.

Hard rock begins and ends with Led Zeppelin. Their stage presence was immaculate and it's depressing that there is not more live footage of these studs bringing down the house.
