When his entire office is massacred, Turner goes on the run from his enemies…and his so-called allies. After reporting the murders to his superiors, the organization wants to bring Condor in – but somebody is trying to take him out. In his frantic hunt for answers, and in a desperate run for his life, Turner abducts photographer Kathy Hale) Faye Dunaway, THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR), eventually seducing her into helping him. Every twist leads Condor to the end of his nerves…and will take you to the edge of your seat. With nowhere to turn and no one to trust, Turner realizes his most dangerous enemy may be closer than he ever feared. Made during the height of the 1970s paranoid thrillers, Three Days of the Condor is smart, exciting, romantic and suspenseful. From the director of classics The Yakuza, Out of Africa, The Firm and Absence of Malice, Condor has influenced movie thrillers for decades since. Redford and Dunaway have instant chemistry. Sydow is terrific as an enigmatic operative and Cliff Robertson as a pragmatic intelligence official keeps viewers guessing. Must see for film fans.

Robert Redford’s coat is the third star of this film and people don’t talk about it enough.

This is the best spy movie of all time. Captures Robert Redford at his best during the 1970s New York City.

Excellent underrated movie. I wish we could still get movies like this. Redford and Faye are fantastic with a great cast of characters.

Movie is a little boring. It looks a good soundtrack to build suspense. The Redford-Dunaway romance did nothing for me and did not seem organic to the story. The ending is confusing and not satisfying.

At least when I bought it, it was categorized in Romance. Plot line - Desparate CIA employee kidnaps woman at gunpoint and holds her against her will for two days. Date night!!

Three Days of the Condor is about an agent, code-named Condor, who reads books for the CIA. He isn't the James Bond type, throwing punches and shooting people, until one day, all of his co-workers are killed. Condor uses his intelligence and vast knowledge of all types to avoid his enemies and uncover the plot. In the 1970’s when this movie came out, the idea of the plot was terrible to contemplate. Unfortunately, that is no longer so. There are excellent performances by the whole cast, especially Redford and Dunaway. This is a movie which is worth watching and re-watching.
