I watched the trailer and will never be the same... That was weird, like something from "Don't hug me I'm scared"

This is a wonderful movie! To compare it with the exceedingly pathetic tim burton film is a dishonor to true film-making. This was made at a time when actors didn't act funny, they were funny. Also made when literary accuracy was important....fidelity to a book or other story was imperative.

Hard to believe you could take a great cast, throw them at Alice and the result could be this boring. Credits were the best part.
  • Not worth the price....

This is one of those 1930s movies with lots of characters from that era. For example, W.C. Fields is listed in the credits but it is impossible to find him (almost). The story somewhat follows Carroll's original book but it is held together with an annoying musical score in the background. Alice is a hard story to capture - but if you are interested in the work I would recommend the modern version - much more impressive.

Okay…I have to say…Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" is MUCH better. Look at that one. This one seems…fake, unusual, and mostly… DISTURBING!
  • That's really cool!
