Description

Still single seven years after his marriage breakup, John (John C. Reilly) has all but given up on romance. But to his and everyone else's surprise, he manages to meet the gorgeous and spirited Molly (Marisa Tomei) at a party. Their chemistry is immediate but Molly is oddly reluctant to take the relationship beyond John's house. John follows her home and discovers the other man in Molly's life: her son, Cyrus (Jonah Hill). Cyrus is his mom's best friend and will go to any lengths to protect Molly and is definitely not ready to share her with anyone. Soon the two are locked in a battle of wits for the woman they both love — and only one man can be left standing when it's over!

I just watched this movie on tv. It’s a great movie and I fear that most won’t get it. It is not the fault of anyone involved with the picture that it is listed as a comedy. If you’re disappointed, that’s your fault.

Good subject matter for the dating scene, but it's not a comedy.. As far as the movie- it's ok.

I ran across this movie & checked it out on a few other sites - IMBD & kids in mind - all other sites are showing it as rated R. Can itunes please make sure they are showing the accurate ratings? If it was originally R & itunes is selling the PG13 version - is there some way you can explain that? Thanks!

comedy? i don't know if thats the category i would put this movie into.. i think its more of a comment on current American lifestyles with brief comedic moments.. i thought it was a decent exploration of the human species but i was not expecting this movie based on the previews... please don't take this as a bad review... it was a decent movie but the humor was short lived...

I thought the movie was very funny not in a gut wrenching laughter sort of way but more of a chuckles sort of way. Hey rent it, what do you have to lose and watch it with those who have a sense of humor, you dig!

I went to see this with my family because we thought it would hilarious especially with jonah hill. There were only about 10 other people in the theater, and I heard everyone saying how much they wanted to get up and leave. I totally agreed with them! But we all hoped it would get better, but it never did. Thats $8 and 2 hours of my life I will never get back.
