With her comical companions Flit, Meeko, and Percy, along for the ride, this spectacular film promises plenty of thrills and laughter for everyone. As an ambassador of peace, Pocahontas is swept away by London's "curious" customs. Attempting to fit in, she makes friends with the dashing English diplomat John Rolfe, and Mrs. Jenkins, his lovable housemaid, both of whom help Pocahontas prepare for her debut at the celebrated Hunt Ball. There, she must convince the King of England that her people are truly civilized in order to stop an armada moving against them. Pocahontas soon finds herself at odds with the scheming Governor Ratcliffe, but when a mysterious stranger comes to her rescue, the courageous Pocahontas must choose between the love of her past ... and the path to her future. Told through brilliant Disney animation and unforgettable characters, POCAHONTAS II: JOURNEY TO A NEW WORLD, is alive with all the colors of a Disney classic.

This movie was pretty good. I felt like John Smith’s character wasn’t the same as it was in the first movie. He acted differently. I’m actually glad Pocahontas ended up with the other John. John Smith wasn’t the same person anymore and he wouldn’t have been right for Pocahontas.

This sequel to Pocahontas was pretty good, but it wasn’t as good as the original. Even though this movie ruins the relationship between Pocahontas and John Smith, I was okay with that, other people didn’t. Some of the voices are a bit different. Mel Gibson isn’t playing John Smith this time around. Instead, they got his brother Donal Gibson to do John Smith. Warning! Pocahontas left her man!

I remember watching Pocahontas when I was a kid. It was my favorite movie ever, and my life's ambition was to watch the second one. Here I am, consecutively watching the first one and second one, and I was so glad I never watched it as a kid. All the charm, all the magic that enchanted(and still enchants me) about the first one, was gone. The animation was awful. The beautiful animation from the first movie had gone out the window. It looked like it was done way to quickly... Don't even get me started on the script. Sure, the first movie was cheesy, but it was cute. All the bad puns, the dialogue, it was too much...
