Tired of all the sappy Christmas movies, the drab re-runs of those 80’s films you’ve seen a million times over, or the cheesy family feel goods? Start a new Christmas tradition of Rare Exports and enjoy the alternative Christmas Tale.

I come back to thinking about this movie over and over especially around the holidays. There are scenes in this that completely capture your heart one minute then terrify the next. Great story and cast is great.

I rented this movie, originally thinking that it would be a horribly made movie that would end up being funny because of the outrageous plot. However, this movie was actually very good, it drops you right at the beginning of the conflict and only gains intensity as you go. It isn't extremely scary but rather very creepy, the R rating is most likely for the nudity, but if you get over that, this is actually a very good movie to watch!

A playful take on the darker origins of Father Christmas. There's heft and depth to this film, but at the same time it's fun and, ultimately, uplifting. A great story that's worth the price of admission.

Amazing Sound Editing with Gorgeous Cinematography, The Acting was truly gripping with true Emotion. The Special Effects were Flawless with Awesome pyrotechnics. For A Foreign Film I Give this 5 Stars for its Amazing Directing And Acting. I Loved close to the end of the Movie the brave Souls that Blew up Santa, Now that was an amazing scene with Awesome pyrotechnics. After all Santa is all but Evil for his name is the same name is Satan with the same Letters. Christmas is all about the Birth Of Christ And Celebrating His Name & Birth. Satan’s sick joke over the Centuries is Giving people a flesh Satisfying worldly vision of Christmas. As people set there sights on Christmas there minds are sidetracked by Santa (SATAN) in doing so the peace and joy of this most Uplifting time of the year is taken away by the deceiving Spirit Known As Santa (SATAN The Robber Of Souls And Dreams ) Set your sights on the Glorious Birth Of Christ And Your Christmas with Family and Friends as you exchange gifts (Limit Just 3 Gifts ) As that is what Jesus Was Given for His Gifts On the Day Of His Glorious Birth for, you will not only be blessed but filled with Joyous Sounds of His Miraculous Birth. Blessings To All and May the Spirit Of the Living God be indwelled in you. Matthew 2:11 New King James Version (NKJV) 11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Cj A Bond Servant Of Jesus Christ !!!

Its not your usual Christmas tale about Santa, but "Rare Exports" is going on my yearly Christmas watch list. This movie is a Santa tale for mature audiences who want to get away from the family friendly Christmas films that may tend to be obnoxiously cheesy. It was entertaining from the get-go. The story was well put together and the acting was pretty good. It had currents of tension through-out the movie, but it wasn't incredibly intense or anything, which made it easier to sit back and relax as enjoyed the movie. Don't expect a lot of violence, but the creepiness of the story is enough. The ending was amazing! Add this movie to your Christmas movie list, but be sure to wait until the kids are asleep to watch it. Or, you can use it as a behavioral management tool. He's coming to see who's been naughty or nice… but this Santa don't leave coal in naughty kids' stockings.

I always knew Santa was evil, this documentary just confirmed it. Seriously it was something different and entertaining adding some sparkle to disastrous state of horror movies which are released these days. The ending did get a little out there but I still enjoyed it.
