Without a doubt, the best ski movie since The Blizzard of Ahhh's. It covers all the things that I really want to see in a ski film. Fantastic locales, a great story, incredible camera work and most of all stellar skiing. Everyone in this film is fantastic at what they do. The message of environmentalism is very important and highlighted quite well. I really can't say enough about this vid and I hope that Sherpa's puts out more quality products in the future.

I liked this movie, but it lacks explanation and story the segments often end before they should…for example, someone climbs a line and before he drops in the segment ends. WHAT THE HECK!?! I wish it would bring you into the film more, lots of rad skiing and amazing shots but failed to bring the culture of the Great world of remote skiing into light. Worth the rent! but I wouldn't buy it again.
  • Pretty, but...

Has some good lines, but more of a hippie, nature lover, global warming propaganda movie that is way too long. If you ski less than 20 days a year you will probably love it. Otherwise a super let down filler filled movie.

Ok, so pretty cool shots. Definitely give credit to the guys for hucking big lines, but I have to say I'm not impressed with their actual ski ability. This film reminds me of watching kids at a park pulling good tricks off of kickers, but then when you actually watch them ski it's pretty embarrassing. Skidding down a steep slope is not skiing. Yes, launching off a cornice and sticking a 720 on an impossibly steep slope is very difficult and impressive, but it just seems to cheapen the experience when a skier is able to get there because of fatty reverse camber skis. In my opinion, I'll take Scott or Plake on a pair of 220 68mm wide skis actually SKIING versus someone sliding down a mountain.

Sherpa Cinemas captures some of the most amazing footage I've ever seen. Cut very well and some of the most breathtaking lens, camera and movement I've seen in a long time. Buy it. Project it on a big screen!
