Thats a masterpiece. The best movie made recently. I won't dare to capture it with my lame descriptions of the plot. As its all about artistic depth of presentation, about sensitivity, values and emotion. Go embrace them and decide for yourself. Very touching, true, beautifully filmed and brilliantly presented story. Its the one "100% MEN" movie so true and revealing, which I as a woman, can not resist to fall in love with. "I'm tired, sick and tired of cynical artists!" Me too. So thank you for this movie. Incredibly respectable work.
  • Haunting movie, haunting music. I felt it for days after watching it.

This is a guy's movie for sure. If you have some nostalgia of your high school or college days when your buddies were everything to you, then you will recognize yourself in this movie at every step. It's not a feel good movie, so if you can't stomach tragedy, keep walking.

So lame that I fear I shall forever walk with a limp.

From legendary director Mark Pellington, who directed the now classic Pearl Jam video "Jeremy" (and many others); this film is fun, vibrant, introspective, pensive, moody, serious, sad, dark, disturbing and painfully reflective. The lead stars turn in some of their best work to date; truly unforgettable and award-worthy performances of their careers. This is one of those rare films... so haunting, it sticks with you longer after it's over. It's impossible to just watch once. As I push 40, may we never grow old inside.

My husband and I thought this film was so boring, we ended up talking about gardening through out the second half. It reminded us of manure. I

If you're from the 90's grunge generation you'll relate. A great low budget movie, with great actors … seriously beautifully shot in Big Sur on Canon 5D Mark II's. Mark Pellington is a brilliant filmmaker.

This may be the single worst movie I have ever sat through. RUN, do not walk, away from this movie! I was taken in by the great cast. Shame on them all!!!

I thought this movie was a beautiful portrayal of the search for meaning and satisfaction...and what happens when you stop living and just exist. This existential journey is riveting and resonates long after the movie ends. Clearly the bad reviews are from viewers expecting (from the ambiguous previews) The Hangover. I was unexpectedly captivated and surprised to find the dark call to the devastating realization that life isn't always what we expect. Well done!
  • horribly disappointed

After seeing the cast, I expected a lot more and was very disappointed. The dialogue, acting, and overall look felt as if it was a cheap effort that everyone phoned in.

Can I get my money back? This movie is the worst I have ever seen. I thought about turning it off at the halfway point.
