This movie has got to be one of the most compelling and emotionally driven films of its time...not only did Halle Berry win an academy award rightfully so being the first african american female to win one but it has amazing acting by both Billy Bob Thorton and Heath Ledger...Story of death, deception, family, and love, i'd recommend to ANYONE who has not seen it...and id watch over again with anybody knowing they will love it just as much as i have

Boring. Pointless and disgusting. I dont care what kind of award(s) are slapped on/attached to it and the actors. Hollywood hit an all time low with this one, which makes one question the criteria. I have rethought choosing movies I view based on so called Oscar worthiness. I regret having seen it.
