The Pact

A great film! I really like scary movies that have a good mystery to solve, it seems to add IMO a lot more interest to the story. Plus if it is done well, it keeps you on the edge. Lately horror flicks have been pretty dull and not interesting, Usually they give no reason or explanation as to why or what is going on, which sometimes( rarely it seems now) works in horror films but most of the time is just a Hollywood scheme to get you to see the sequal. Usually the characters arent interesting and I could care less about them or who gets killed in a grusome way. This film really had a good story to it and good acting IMO. It kind of reminded me of the film "The Changling" that was made in the 80's with Goerge C. Scott, that film was very creepy and scary. I even remember jumping out of my chair a few times. This film also drew me in and really got me involved. I actually had to pause and take a break for a few minutes it creeped me out so bad! Its nice to finally see a great horror film again, and not the A typical overkill Freddy Film gore fest and cheep CG.This just had a great story and good acting!Which is all you need really you dont have to show all that blood and gore it can all be implied which makes the film better IMO than showing it. So anyway If you like really good jump out of your skin horror films Id recommend this, maybe rent it to test the waters first. Now that Ive seen this Id like to buy it and see it again but this time with a date! So I can hold her hand while she gets scared and hides her face on my shoulder! Hey, what can I say.

Finally, a movie that isn’t just someone walking around with a handheld camera.

The pact is a very unique psychological thriller that starts out slow and quickly picks up the pace. It will keep audiences hooked and on the edge of their seats. You never know what to expect with horror films but this one certainly exceeded my expectations. It was pretty intense and scary. You never know what secrets are lurking inside your home waiting to be discovered...

We watched this movie and were pleasantly surprised. The cinematography was excellent, the story was really good and it had an old fashioned creepiness to it. It made my wife jump in a few spots…I liked this movie.

This film has a way of developing fear through the viewers imagination and sequences of complete silence. I absolutely love that! The ending itself was a little weak, but for an indie film it was great!

Probably the scariest movie I have ever seen, great for any age, My heart was racing a million beats per second, great story. You won't regret getting this one! Trust me!

I have seen a lot of horror films; the good, bad, and the ugly. I think this particular film has some good scares, adequate acting, and in my eyes, a fairly unique storyline. Some important points are not expilicitly stated, but I am sure any viewer can pick up on them. I would reccomend it.

I went in with low expectations and by the end was amazed by how well this supernatural flick turned out.
