I liked the movie and thought Mr. Thomas did a great job portraying Hank Williams. The movie would have been great if more of Hank's songs were played and if a performance or two or three was included.

I loved this movie. Henry Thomas deserved an Oscar. Jesse James played his role perfectly. Kaley Cuoco lit up the screen, while Fred Thompson commanded it. Benjy Gaither's music choices are powerful, especially Michael English's haunting version of "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". It's a shame this movie did not receive wider distribution, but I am so glad to have found it on iTunes.
