It's been over 10 years since his passing. You might call him crazy, but he was determined to live as he loved life. Daring always. Silly with a strong sense of humor.. A excellent documentary about a man who pushed it outside the envelope on each attempt. While making it look easy..

This is Shane freaking McConkey were talking about here like this man is by far the greatest this world has to offer. Shane died doing what he loved and by no means was he pressured into this. This sport and for anything in general is all about PROGRESSION and if we didnt have people like Shane then we would never know what our potential really is. For that we thank him and the sponsers that helped get this sport where it is. If you don't agree with progression then step to the sidelines and watch as we send it for ourselves and what we love.

First off, this is a masterful piece of film making. The time spent researching and putting together such a dynamic life into an hour and a half is a feat in itself. That said, I felt like I had been stabbed in the back (again) after watching this. In life, taking risks is the only way to live. Shane understood this and lived more in 40 years than most do in a hundred. It's tragic for his family, but I hope they are proud more than anything. RIP Shane, you are still missed 6 years later.

I was truly disturbed by this movie - I appreciate the visuals, memorializing his life and his incredible feats and it is a heartbreaking story in the end but there is something truly perverse about a corporation that sponsors these stunts, pushes these athletes to extremes (and death, not death-defying) and makes movies about them - I get that the revenues from the film are going to the family but that's not bringing Shane back.

Thank you Shane for everything you did. This was an incredible tribute to your life and if you could have seen it you would have loved it. A must see for anyone who ever stepped on snow and wanted to ski fast, ski big, jump higher, go further, you get the point. Awesome production Red Bull Media House and MSP Films! Two thumbs up!

MSP did a great job creating an awesome tribute to Shane. Allows everyone (even non-skiers) to see the impact and legacy he left on the lives of many. Its emotional in every way possible. Great flow, great story, and a great message. Shane was rad beyond comprehension—and this flick captures it.
