This movie features top rate stars and Harry Belafonte in his prime. The story revolves around the racism that was prevalent during that time period on an imaginary island in the Caribbean. It's good with a few unexpected plot twists but the real star of this movie is the gorgeous cinematography! The CinemaScope transfer is very good and presented in the correct aspect ratio. Throughout the film, I kept finding myself in awe of the beautiful photography! In addition you get some great 1950s interior design sets. So overall, I think this film is well worth owning although younger viewers may find the plot hard to relate too.
