Description

Based on an incredible true story, Balto is a dazzling animated adventure about one of the most courageous canines of all time. Part husky and part wolf, Balto isn’t sure where he belongs in the wilds of Alaska. But when a serious diphtheria epidemic spreads fast among the children of Nome, it’s up to the brave Balto and his friends to rescue a team of sled dogs lost in a blinding Arctic storm and carrying the much-needed anti-toxin. Starring the incredible voice talents of Kevin Bacon, Bridget Fonda, Bob Hoskins and Phil Collins, it’s a remarkable tale of a hero who inspired a nation and became a legend!

  • NOT A RIP OFF.

Balto is NOT a rip off of The Lion King and I can prove it. First of all, Balto is based on a true story, unlike The Lion King. But if they wanted it to be kid-friendly then they would have to add a few fictional characters, but the thing about getting the medicine for the kids is true. A lot of people think that Rosy is an unnecessary character, but she needed to be in the story. If the directors wanted people to feel sorry for the dying kids they needed to make a character that people would like and pity. Second of all, The Lion King IS A RIP OFF!!! In the 60's there was a movie called Simba The White Lion. And we all know that The Lion King came out in 1994. Personally, I've never seen Simba The White Lion, but his name is Simba, and that should be enough evidence. Thanks for reading this, here's a bee. 🐝
