Description

After Brendan King's life spiraled to rock bottom, the teen found hope in a relationship with God while serving time in a juvenile penitentiary. Recently released from prison, Brendan finds solace in the foster home of a couple struggling with suppressed grief. As the street-wise teen enrolls at a suburban high school, he soon finds support from a group of believers. Yet the bonds of his old way of life are strong, and his former gang won't let him walk away so easily. In his darkest moment, Brendan found faith. Now he must decide if it's worth the price to hold on to it.

We all face hurt and things in our life that we can't handle or understand on our own. This movie portrays how through faith and trust we all can experience God's redemption in our lives.

This was a wonderful movie. The acting was good. The casting of the main character was perfect. His acting was superb. Timing was great as well especially in scenes where there was no dialogue. The story line presented with a few subplots which gave the movie dimension. Highly recommend it.

The juxtaposition of King’s old & new life was really stark - very intense scenes, well done. Well written in the complexity of a man coming out of circumstances that people around him wouldn’t understand. Definitely worth watching.

Let’s be honest, Hollywood is NOT a family’s friend when it comes to entertainment. I am HAPPY to support projects that teach good morals, and help LIFT mankind instead of shove us ever deeper into the mire. Great film, great message, highly recommended.
