A lot of gore and no cheesy effects

I am one of the biggest horror movie fans out there. I love mostly the 80's or low budget films. I watched this movie in parts because of the gore, violence. That doesnt bother me but the character who kills is what scared me. I do recommend for extreme gore fans, not for the weak.

Nothing like a killer who you hate yet keep watching even though your skins crawling with terror like bugs boring under your flesh.

Kill that crazy Mick!!!! Poor Germans….. seriously stop calling them krouts! They are the most socially conscious people in the world!

Good movie and better than the first one as it steps on the gas early and never let's up. The only thing the first one did well was the initial suspense waiting for the villian Mick to show his colors. The new movie assumes we all know who Mick is and goes first throttle from the get go. Good job and a bit rough but these movies are suposed to be. Go Mick!

Let me start out by saying that I didn’t like the first Wolf Creek. It’s boring, predictable, and seems like every other slasher flick. So why did I decide to watch this sequel? I don’t know, I was curious. But I can’t deny the fact that I enjoyed it. This movie is entertaining from start to finish. Yes, the characters are stupid, but slasher movies wouldn’t be made without them. The opening scene and the climax are the two best parts of the movie; the rest is basically the good parts from the first movie. One thing I didn’t like about this movie is how it’s not even remotely scary. Even though I didn’t like the first movie, I will admit that it did build tension; this sequel didn’t really have any, so I’d say it’s more of a thriller than a horror. Another thing I didn’t like is the ending. It ended on a note that reminded me a lot of the Saw movies. I like the Saw movies, but endings like they have don't fit the overall feel of Wolf Creek 2. And it’s kinda unbelievable that the killer would do everything he could possibly do to get one person. You’d think he’d give up sooner or later since it’s just ONE person, but no, then we wouldn’t have a movie right? But overall, Wolf Creek 2 is a big improvement from the first movie, but lacks scares, tension, likable characters, and new content.

If you're a fan of Greg McLean's WOLF CREEK, by all means, spend some more time with Mick and his knife. If you love kangaroos, well...you'll see. Not for the faint of heart, but a worthwhile follow-up to the 2005 Aussie classic.
