Don't Look Now

This isn’t a straight horror film, it is more of a psychological thriller/character study with elements of horror. The acting is great with some campiness thrown in for fun. We follow a couple who just suffered a major loss and in the midst of trying to save their marriage. Throughout the film both husband and wife experience strange events and psychological states. It all comes together into a very disturbing finale. Don’t expect slam bang action, this is a 70’s movie. Just go with the flow and have patience with it.

I read all the reviews and got sucked into believing this had potential. I have no idea how legit movie critics could rate this move so high - it is bad and a complete waste of money. The story is painstakingly slow, the plot is highly suspect, and the acting is poor at best.

It’s been years since I saw this movie. Caught it one late night on around 2 am. One of the scariest, creepiest movies that I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember any gore or it being a slasher type of film. But it makes your skin crawl; watch it with a pillow.
