Description

Apple Pie is the cult classic from director Howard Goldberg. In this experimental New York fairytale, gangster Jacques "the Ace" Blinbaum (Tony Azito), relates the tale of his first con – faking his own kidnapping to obtain a "ransom" from his father (Brother Theodore). But, as the film spirals more and more into fantasy, it becomes apparent the “gangster” may not be exactly what he seems. Disparate narrative threads converge in a magnificent dance sequence with music by Daryl Hall and John Oates on the streets of New York.

understand that concept before ragging on the movie or renting it in the first place. Open your mind, step back in time, chill out, and groove with it. Beautiful movie, beautiful actor Tony Azito(RIP), and the last 16 minutes are worth the price of admission alone. this fil is to the art of film making what Sonny Sharrock, Albert Ayler, Pharoah Sanders, and John Coltrane are to the art of Jazz improvisation. It was a different time when this movie was made. and it brought me back in time. an escape from the BS of today's CGI Hollywood crap. Dance, Baby. Dance!!!!!!!!!

This may indeed be the worst movie ever made, and iTunes is trying to make $$ off you (they're in on the joke)! Just watch the trailer, that's as good as it gets with this waste of film. No! I hate that I have to give it a star to rate it.
