When Stretch is in need of quick cash to pay back his debts to a notorious gangster, he takes a job with a billionaire client in hopes of a big payday. His client’s eccentricities soon escalate into a wild night of adventure, sex, and danger which begins to make the fate of returning to the mob empty-handed seem reasonable. • a pleasant surprise

saw it was on sale for $5. read some reviews, saw it was directed by the guy who did 'smoking aces', which i enjoyed and it just sounded like something i might like, so i rolled the dice. there were some cool cameos (ray liotta, the hoff) and while i wasn't very familiar with the main actor, patrick wilson, i found him to be quite good and likable, especially in this role. there were a few moments that were a little over the top and hard to believe...which is really saying something for this movie, so i knocked off a star for that but overall, it was fun and entertaining. jessica alba was adorable, as always. if you like something like the movie, 'crank', you'll like this. most movies underwhelm and disappoint me but i was glad i gave this a shot. it didn't let me down.

This line, taken from the movie, sums up the hilarity of a limo driver's wild night. I gotta say that Jessica Alba should do more comedy. This is probably her best acting. And Karos, aka Chris Pine, definitely does freaky some justice. And...he isn't even credited for his role on this movie. If you need a laugh, this movie won't disappoint.

Stupid white trash movie with bad acting and worse directing. Complete waste of time.
  • No wonder it never made it to theaters!

Hmm... the folks that gave this more than one star must be paid by the producers! While I suffered through the entire movie (bought for a plane trip) - wow! was this bad! Poor plot, poor acting and no redeeming value. I am amazed that there were so many big name actors that have their names (and time) associated with this bomb. Trust me - don't waste your time or money here... move on, there's nothing to see.
  • Ceaseless Effort

They came up with brilliant concepts. But then they overworked those concepts to death. If seeing 15 weirdos running out of a house would be amusing, then they show you 150. After the 25th weirdo the impression is no longer amusing. The impression is of herculean effort to amuse. The easy breezy, effortless flow of the best comedies keeps getting crushed under the massive, tedious efforts to exaggerate everything.

Quirky, very funny movie! Gives me hope that Hollywood can still occasionally create a movie like this.

Could have been good. Basically it wastes its talent on a plot thinner then smoke.
  • Great unexpected movie

I was expecting a B movie at best. What really happened was a ultra-creative com-action movie that is better than many of this seasons theater releases.
  • Destined to become a cult classic.

The characterizations and exchanges are fresh and it bubbles with action.
