The creator of the show and lead character is Josh; it also stars his real life bestfriend Tom and his dog John. It is one of the most genuine and relatible shows about a gay person. It captures the angst of being a young gay man perfeclty. You will fall in love with every character. It is truely earnest. I binge watched the first 3 seasons in a little over a week.

Having watched all 3 seasons of Please Like Me I am continually impressed with the compassion, comedy, drama, and suspense this show offers. Easily relatable you will fall in love with this show and not be able to stop watching. I can only hope for a lot more to come.

Made the mistake of watching an episode randomly to try it and didn't get it. Start from the beginning and you'll be drawn in and delighted, amused and ultimately truly touched by these characters. Josh Thomas has a twisted comic vision that is inspired and is deep and surprisingly vulnerable. With so much good tv being produced this ranks among the best in its class. Treat yourself.

Each season seems to get better. I love that the characters play a version of themselves in a very funny way.

This show started off great, and has gotten impossibly better each season. It's a perfect mix of funny and serious, and manages to tackle issues of mental health in a respectful and entertaining manner. A++ to Josh Thomas.

Feels very personal. Please JT, don't let it lose that edge. Evolve but don't lose the innocence.

They are in season three and already managed to churn out two absolutely flawless episodes. Seriously, how good can a TV-show possibly get?

Please Like Me is one of the best shows to ever grace our television screens (or computer screens for those who have those sucky providers that don't carry Pivot aka me). When I first discovered this show back when season one was airing I was instantly hooked. It’s so funny. Plus, the way Josh and the rest of the team handle important topics like sexuality and mental illness and friendships and love and family…it’s so unbelievable. It’s so refreshing to see a TV show not play into stereotypes or stigmas. It’s just a simple, realistic concept. And it all comes across so effortlessly. As for season three? Well, it’s just started BUT it’s off to a great start! I’m a huge fan and I would recommend it to anybody.
