Paige is the worst actor and character in the show. Her character makes me cringe. plot has gotten boring. Too much inner conflict.

I was first introduced to the Americans three years ago. The show has been thoroughly entertaining since my first introduction. Unpredictable plot lines and superior acting from a stellar cast.

I just paid $30+ for the last season only to find it has commercials in it. What the hell? FULL REFUND, PLEASE.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first 3 seasons. Season 4 shows noticable increase in laziness in the writing and production, with ever-increasing amounts of filler. I was raised just outside D.C. in the Arlington/Falls Church area when the family is supposed to live. It doesn't help that the show is filmed in NY! I hope they step up their game next year, or I will be done with this show.

Couldn't suggest a way to make this show any better.

Worth watching.

This is a fantastic TV show that is very well written, produced, and authentic to the Cold War era. Must see!

One of the truly great shows in the history of television. Along with Breaking Bad and Mad Men, one of the three great shows of the modern TV era, and combines the best elements of both of those series. It's a consistently exciting spy thriller, coupled with an incredibly interesting, well written and well acted family drama. Each season is better than the one before because the characters and relationships keep developing and getting more and more entangled. Every character in this show, large and small, seems like a real person, acts and talks like a real person. Once you get used to that, it's actually hard to watch other shows. They seem fake and cartoonish. Just watch the pilot.
