It's OK but the book beats it hands down. it's not even close. If you like the book you'll be disappointed in this.

This show is amazing in every way. The acting is superb and the characters are truly vivid. I really hoped that they would make more seasons, because this story is incomplete and that is why it must continue. Will it ever end? No. That is the beauty of it. Kennedy is an icon, not because of his life, but because of his shady end. Thank you for this wonderful season. It is worth watching several times.

This serires knocks it out of the park. The attention to detail is beyond any movie or series I have ever seeen. To make all those actors, cars, buildings, food, music and mood the perfect 50s and 60s look took more work than 1000 of your typical shows on today. It's also a smart movie (except for the inexplicable plot foundation) which addresses the JFK issue again. There are little parts you have to be ready for, like the time Carson mentions "Camelot", which was code for the Utopia America had become. Then there was the phenomenal dance scene where they used a Big Band to play a jazzed up version of Little Brown Jug. The dancers had very cool moves I have never seen before and I probably watched every episode of Happty days. Makes me wish I had a portal like this show has.

For all you history nerds like me this show and premise will make your insides tickle. Favorite show in years. Feels like you are in 1960s. Mid century America has all the feels good and bad. Not a waste of money!
