Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, Season 8

This was an amazing show when it started, always pushing the envelope of thought. However, with this latest season, it has turned into liberal political elitism.

Review is based on Seasons 3-8. Seasons 1 & 2 are absolutely brilliant. Disappointing to see this series fall from its high caliber content and production that was closely on par with NOVA or BBC, to end up on the bottom of the barrel at more of a History Channel-type level of science show. Starting in Season 3 and continuing throughout Season 4, episode topics devolve from legitimate scientific inquiry and research to political issues and emotional argumentation vs. evidential reasoning and discussion. By Season 5 the show has become irrelevant. Any legitimacy or sophistication it had is gone and loaded with political hot topics, sensationalism, and ideological arguments.

The last episode on "gun crime" is a joke, it doesn't mention that almost all of that ladies statistical analysis has been called into question and debunked due to her flawed methodologies. For instance, she considers someone getting shot with a BB gun as "gun crime"...come on, would be nice for them to mention this...

I'm really going to miss this show, I can't believe this is the last season. Say it isn't so, Morgan!
