Doom Patrol, Season 1

I love weird. I love offbeat and irreverent takes on superheroes, but this is almost unwatchable. First and foremost, the characters are all remarkably unlikeable yet completely inept, and never improve. If this were a comedy, we would have The Tick or Mystery Men. But somehow, this isn’t a comedy so what we have is a bunch of irritating and tragically incompetent superheroes. Terrible.

Have to watch! I stumbled on this series and loved it!

Will the USA Store get Season 2? It is already on Canadian iTunes.

It starts off slow but interesting and eventually gets better in later episodes. But completely bombs in the last two episodes, which should have been the bomb finally. Instead It was just a smoking fart and done. The price for me would have to be very low to see season 2 and the only reason I bought season 1 was because it dropped to $4.99. But it has possibilities, just not worth paying big bucks for...2 stars people

What a fun ride! An amazing cast , and such wonderful performances.

Turned out to be one of my fav shows!! Funny, different, and crazily interesting. Great and original characters!!

I got to admit after falling in love with this show about the time Cliff got inside of Jane’s mind(even though she didn’t want him to) I was totally ok with the lack of mind blowing choreographed or typical action sequences that this series doesn’t have enough of. In fact ,this series is really a tour of psychological experiences and how dealing with them is indeed possible. It doesn’t matter if you no longer have a human body or any of its parts . You should embrace your individuality . I don’t think I have ever seen a series make me feel so proud to be different or strange . This is truly a special show .

I would recommend this as a series that contains all the elements for good entertainment. The dialogue and plot line have there ups and downs to be sure,,, I was totally impressed by the acting and found them all to be capable of delivering everythings from subtle nuanced performance to slapstick. Nice! I hope to see more!
