Death Note (English), The Complete Series

The show is great. Apple is definitely malice in their schemes of baiting their costumers to buy the 1st volume at a sale price then shortly after eliminating the option to buy the season in parts; meaning to own the whole season you would either have to buy the remaining episodes separately at $2.99, or just go ahead and buy the whole series at $50 even if you already own the first half of the series. The fact that apple is bold enough to do this is scary considering how much power they have over more than just iTunes movie prices

Welp I found a cure for the $50 charge. Bought it on BluRay for $15.00. Now that makes sense.

Stop giving great shows negative reviews because of issues with pricing or iTunes!!!!! F,.!@$ morons!

This is my favorite show by far. The art, characters, story, it’s all just perfect. It’s a definite must watch, especially if you like mystery/thrillers. 100000/10

I hate this dubbed version!! You lose the integrity of the show. It’s useless. Bring the original Japanese version back then I’ll buy it.

Why give a discount on part 1 of the season than completely get rid of a 2 part season and just make one large season lol not trying to spend extra money smh

Show is amazing, however if you go to viz.com you can find the series completely free with having to pay $50, I enjoyed the series so much had to tell y’all. By far my favorite anime!

Light Yagami, a genius high school student, finds a book known as the Death Note. The Death Note grants the user the power to kill whomever they desire by writing their name in the book. Light believes he is doing the world a favor when he starts exterminating all of the world's major criminals. But soon governments around the world begin to take notice that these deaths are not coincidence and a brilliant, world-renowned detective, known simply as "L", steps up to the challenge of finding out who is behind the string of murders. Thus, a thrilling battle of wits between two geniuses begins! This show is a masterpiece. Once this complex story gets going, it grips you and constantly keeps you in suspense and at the edge of your seat, wanting more and more after each episode until the very end. Even if you're not an avid watcher of anime (or of animation in general), I highly recommend this series if you want a good supernatural thriller to watch. And on a side note, while I do love the fact that we now have the "Complete Series" in iTunes, I do have to agree with the one star reviews on here. It truly was a low blow to delete Volumes 1 and 2 from the store, especially after offering Volume 1 for $4.99 for a couple of weeks and then proceeding to delete BOTH OF THEM after it was over, forcing people to rebuy the same episodes again if they wanted the episodes they didn't get to buy that were in volume 2. Apple, Viz Media... I don't know who decided it, but you should have left the volumes alone and let people decide what they wanted, whether it was the volumes or the complete series. I was one of those people that purchased the $4.99 deal, but I purchased this complete series set to support, well, the series. That and to support the idea of having complete series sets for anime on iTunes. Having said that... Apple, Viz, if you guys decide to do this again, I only have two words for you: Naruto and InuYasha. And also offer them in Japanese too!
