  • A slight improvement from the first season

It’s rare to see a tv show that gets better the longer it continues, but when you build at the sub basement level, the only place you have to go is up. The longer episodes this season allowed for more important details to be added, however the idiotic writers couldn’t help themselves and ended up writing another pointless filler episode that breaks away from the established storyline for no better reason than that the writers wanted to watch the cast screw around in Mexico. I will congratulate the writers on having enough competence to write an episode that has an actual bearing on the rest of the season, even if said bearing is microscopic. I wish they wouldn’t have made that episode, but since they did I wish that they would’ve made said episode without trying to pack every single western genre cliche into a 50 minute episode. But the fact they still made this episode, instead of using the extra episode space to add detail to the remainder of this incredibly bare bones writing, speaks volumes to how little the writers care about the story they are telling. I’ve seen people comparing this show to Peaky Blinders. These people have either not watched this show, or they haven’t seen Peaky Blinders.
