Wayne

Wayne is the gritty and sometimes bloody tale of WAYNE (Mark McKenna), a 16 year-old Dirty Harry with a heart-of-gold, who sets out on a dirt bike to Ocala, Florida with his new crush DEL (Ciara Bravo) to take back the 1979 Trans-Am that was stolen from his father before he died. But Wayne and Del, two tough kids from broken homes, face far more danger than just the open road as Del’s father, DADDY (Dean Winters), and her twin brothers, TEDDY and CARL, leave Brockton, Massachusetts to seek revenge on Wayne for “kidnapping” Del. Meanwhile, Wayne and Del are also being pursued by SERGEANT STEPHEN GELLER, a cop with the heart of a poet, and his social-media savvy deputy, JAY GANETTI, who hope to save the world from Wayne, as high school principal, TOMMY COLE (Mike O’Malley), and Wayne’s best friend, ORLANDO, hope to save Wayne from the world. With any luck, Wayne and Del will survive their long journey on the road and their many pursuers to take back Wayne’s family heirloom and discover the truth about their own pasts in the process. And just maybe, discover they only need each other.
