When I watched 24 season 4 all were worth wild. Comparing it to the 1, 2, 3 the story lines also were showing more. Which caught my attention. Seasons 1-3 felt like it was the start.

This season is pure adrenaline from hour 1 through hour 24. Just when you think the problem is solved….CRAP…another one comes up and the wild ride continues. Twists, turns and surprises with each episode. If you like high speed espionage style movies and shows, this is perfect for you. You will not be disappointed.

SHOWS OF ALL TIME. EACH SEASON OUTDOES THE ONE PRIOR AND AS I GET READY TO START EPISODE 10 OF SEASON 4, I CAN HONESTLY SAY I BELIEVE THIS TO BE THE "SMARTEST" SEASON TO DATE. (***SPOILER ALERT***) IM WONDERING HOWEVER, WHERE'S CHASE AND KIM BAUER? THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT ADDITIONS TO AN ALREADY SUPERIOR SEASON BUT MAYBE THEY ARE COMING IN THE NEXT 15 EPISODES. AS I WRAPPED UP SEASON 3 I GOT THE FEELING THAT MAYBE I SHOULD STOP RENTING THIS SHOW EVEN IF FOR ONLY A COUPLE MONTHS. I FELT LIKE THE NEXT 5 SEASONS WOULD BE THE SAME OL',SAME OL', BUT NOW IM GLAD I DIDN'T! (***SPOILER ALERT***) SEASON 4 EP 1 STARTS OUT WITH JACK IN A HOTEL ROOM WITH HIS BOSS, THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE'S DAUGHTER WITH WHOM HE'S BEEN DATING FOR SIX MONTHS DISCUSSING HIS HAPPINESS FOR CHOOSING TO GET OUT OF FEILD WORK. HAD HE STILL BEEN COMMITTED TO THE FEILD, HE NEVER WOULD HAVE MET AUDRY,BLAH-BLAH-BLAH! YOU ALL KNOW THE REST OF THAT STORY. LETS JUST SAY THAT IF THERE WASN'T A MAJOR EVENT ( TERRORIST RELATED POSSIBLY,LOL) THAT FORCED MR BAUER BACK INTO THE EVER DANGEROUS "FEILD" THAT ONLY JACK COULD CALL- " HOME SWEET HOME",THAN I WOULD HAVE TO ASSUME ID BE WRITING AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT REVIEW WITH COMPLETELY OPPOSING OPINIONS. LUCKY FOR ALL OF US "24" FANS...IM NOT. THIS SEASON IS,LIKE I SAID, THE SMARTEST TO DATE IN MY OPINION. I KNOW THE SHOW IS CURRENTLY OFF THE AIR BUT IM JUST NOW WATCHING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I CAN SEE WHY IT WON SO MANY AWARDS. NO OTHER PROGRAM HAS GOT MY PULSE PUMPING THIS FAST! I LOOK FORWARD TO THE REMAINING EPISODES...

Day 4 is Jack Bauer at his best. It is my favorite season of 24 because of the action, the ending, and Habib Marwan. He may be an evil SOB terrorist, but when it comes to attacking a nation, he is a genius. Can you imagine what the implications would be if Marwan had succeeded fully in all of his attacks? That's why I like Day 4 the best.

I know that lots of iTunes users won't agree with me, but season 4 of 24 is probably the weakest season ever. It's not at all bad, (4 out of 5) but it is the weakest. The supporting actors (not at CTU, but for example the Arazes) are annoying and not too good at acting. After Jack was fired at the end of season 3 (watch the bridge between 3 and 4 on the season 3 boxed set - it's great), he is working at the DOD for Secretary James Heller. He's also found a new girlfriend in Heller's daughter, Audrey Raines. Jack gradually returns to CTU, however, when his boss and girlfriend are kidnapped by terrorists. Today the terrorists are Muslim, which is always a device that annoys me. They're easy to pick on. It's not even like season 2 where one person who is Muslim turns out to be completely innocent. There isn't a good Muslim in this season. On the other hand, the main villain, Habib Marwan, (who you pretty much know about very quickly) is played very well by Arnold Vosloo. Some of his helpers, the seemingly innocent Araz family, not so much. Behrooz, who wants to break away from his families terrorist plots, is awful. The season gets better about halfway through though. Marwan has about five or six different evil plans, all leading up to the giant one (which you can probably guess) but the one from 10:00 - 11:00 is the most tense. Also, the events between about 6 PM and 8 PM are very exciting. And finally, there is a shocking death. Although the culmination of Marwan's terrorist activities is very disappointing, the very end of the season is much better. It ends on a very high note. Great twist, leaving you waiting for 5. The actors for Secretary Heller and Audrey Raines are also good. Highlights: Jack holds up a gas station, Chloe gets her first kill in the field, the awesome return of someone from the past, shootouts between 12 AM and 1PM, 1PM and 2PM, and 7PM and 8PM, and the last twist.
