Description

Divorced working mom Christine Campbell (Emmy® Award-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus) successfully juggles the daily stresses of motherhood and owning a women's gym. Her young son, Ritchie (Trevor Gagnon), attends a posh school frequented by snooty stay-at-home moms Marly (Tricia O'Kelley) and Lindsay (Alex Kapp Horner), and Christine's slacker brother, Matthew (Hamish Linklater), lives with her. Christine gets along with her ex-husband, Richard (Clark Gregg), better than when they were married, but life got more complicated when she met Richard's new girlfriend (Emily Rutherfurd), a nice, impossible-to-hate woman also named Christine — "new" Christine. When "old" Christine sees Richard has moved on with his life, she realizes it may be time to take that same leap. Recurring guest stars this season include Wanda Sykes, Blair Underwood and Scott Bakula. Sandra Bernhard and Ed Begley Jr. also appear. Catch the second season of this hilarious comedy from Kari Lizer (Will & Grace) on iTunes!

Why the heck are we buying season two without the preface of season one? Whoever is in charge of iTunes is clearly lacking the concept of a logical progression of purchase. The type of people who buy season two are the people who a) love the show and want the whole series, or b) started watching part-way through and want to see how it started. Either way, they are both on the market for the first and most recent seasons, especially the first, as it's not online to watch for free in a legal context. Without other options, people are resigned to seek out "alternative" ways of accessing the video, which I'm sure iTunes will agree, is not the ideal situation. But what can we say? If there was an option, we'd buy it.
