Futurama, Season 5

This is my favorite series of the show. Every episode is an instant classic. The only really bad episode is Spanish Fry. Other than that, each episode is moving, made me cry, or is f**king hilarious. If you're only going to buy 1 season of this show, buy this one. Only one episode, The Sting. Some great moments: - In the end of Crimes of the Hot when Bender couldn't get up off his back. - In the end of Jurassic Bark when Seymour waited for Fry. (Made me cry) - In Less Than Hero when Leela was trying to get away and said, "Oh, no! I forgot! I left my apartment on fire!" - Also in Less than Hero when Bender put on his crown for a half-second to say "We are not amused!" - In Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles when Leela begged her parents to give her rules that she wanted to break. - In The Why of Fry when Fry rode in on the scene in a "Scooty-Puff Sr." -The entire third act of The Sting - In Obsoletely Fabulous when the Cassette Robot shoved a tape in his mouth that said, "State the obvious". - In the beginning of The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings when the opening caption said "See you next time on some other channel" (Also made me cry) - In the end of The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings when Fry and Leela walked off. (Made me cry again) All of these moments and more are perfect examples of why Futurama is great. They all show it at its best: moving, hilarious, entertaining. It's the best show ever. Watch it. ERIC KAPLAN IS A GENIUS The Route of All Evil: 3.8/5 Funny jokes, but not hysterical. Still a good and very underrated episode. A Taste of Freedom: 3.2/5 Some funny jokes, but not as good as many others. Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch: 4.6/5 Not very funny, but pretty moving, and a very good episode. Another very underrated one. Less Than Hero: 2.9/5 Some funny jokes, but gets old very quickly. Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles: 4.8/5 Some of the funniest jokes Futurama has to offer. The Why of Fry: 4/5 Shocking secret revealed, and some funny jokes. The Sting: 5/5 THE BEST EPISODE OF FUTURAMA OR ANY OTHER SHOW THAT HAS EVER EXISTED OR EVER WILL EXIST!!! The Farnsworth Parabox: 3.2/5 Somewhat funny and a bit moving, but very overrated. Three Hundred Big Boys: 3.3/5 Not very funny, but it was a bit interesting how they connected all the different plots. Spanish Fry: 2.9/5 Not very funny at all. The worst episode of the season. Bend Her: 3.4/5 Another weak episode. Not very many funny jokes. Obsoletely Fabulous: 4.2/5 Hilarious. Very funny. Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV: 3.5/5 Somewhat funny. The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings: 5/5 Amazing episode. Very moving. Overall Rating: 4.2/5 The best season of Futurama.

I'm not happy that they are, but that's why they're ordered like this. 5/5 for the episodes, one of the best shows ever.

Jurassic bark was so good and touching!

I don't know what makes this collection "Season Five." Unless it's the two missing episodes. This set is actually Season Four, minus two shows. I didn't have any original Futurama episodes for my iPad, so this was a worthwhile investment for me. But if you're looking for episodes after the original four-season run, you won't find any in this collection.

This show is pure genius. The jokes are just so witty; almost every episode leaves me in hysterics. It's really too bad that Fox cancelled it in its prime, but at least it's better than the POS Family Guy...

6/23/10 So funny! Bender is my favorite charactor! He's even showed up on family guy "the splendid source" episode.... Can't wait till the new episode comes out on Thursday the 24 at 10/9c on comedy central

Please, iTunes, get the upcoming seasons of Futurama on iTunes. I want to be able to watch them and own them right after they air. I love Futurama!!!
