  • I don't want HD!

I'm loving this show; it's absolutely hilarious! However, why are you trying to force me to buy it in HD iTunes? I've been buying it in SD! But it's only giving me the "Complete Your Season for $" thing for the HD choice! That is not how you respect your customers' preferences, iTunes. EDIT: Since writing this review, iTunes fixed the error where I had the lower price for having previously bought episodes from them on the HD even though I'd bought the episodes in SD. Now it doesn't acknowledge that I have bought any previous episodes from iTunes. I'm lowering my star rating and I think I'll be watching the rest of this season and the next three seasons somewhere else, iTunes. Good show, but terrible customer service apparently.

It's really funny. A smart comedy for sure. It's not for everyone , but I think most people would like it.

This is by far one of the laugh-out-loud funniest TV shows I've ever seen. The dialogue is priceless, and you get to love each character. I adore every season of this show!!!

This comedic series has not only an all star cast but also an incredible writing team. Chevy Chase can often be forgotten but his character is an amazing testament to his versatility. Strange this show was close to cancellation. Buy an episode, buy the season, either way you will not be disappointed.

It surprises me that most shows aren't at the level that Community is at. The show has its bases covered: It's witty, insightful, subtle, hilarious, and dripping with character chemistry. The thing that makes this show wonderful is the writer's brilliance and commitment to entertaining the audience. They seem to genuinely enjoy their job. Every episode is chock full of little treats and subtleties, and I never tire of watching them. The irony of such epic plotlines happening in such a lame and underwhelming environment is endlessly amusing. The dialouge is pitch perfect, the camerawork is wonderfully cinematic, and the whole thing just works. This is mostly due to the immense amount of philisophical commentary throughout the show. Subjects like free will, an underlying reality, true happiness, and self-observation come up multiple times. This is all brought home by the fourth-wall-leaning of Abed who views life as a television show. All this is well and fine, but the big draw to the show, in my opinion, is the characters' chemistry. Every character is so different as a whole but so similar in little details that their interactions are a joy to watch. The humor happens so naturally and the comedic pacing of the show isn't jerky or awkward in the least.
  • Love it

Then get the Modern Warfare episode. I watch the show and to me that was not only the funniest of the shows, it is one of the funniest half-hours of television to have ever been produced in America. It is sidesplittingly absurd, filled with the notorious pop culture references the show is known for. I can not endorse this show enough. It is the winking eye of American television. Yayyy!!!
