Initial D: Third Stage

the movie was amazing and not dissapointing but the fact that we were only able to watch this in DUB was very dissapointing as i prefer subs over DUBs in most acasions including this one

I’ve been a fan of the series since I was a teenager, I even watched the terrible TokyoPop dubbing of the series before I started watching it THE RIGHT WAY. As with most anime I’ve watched, the English voice acting leaves something to be desired and the words and phrases will be mispronounced. To those who are just starting to watch anime and won’t watch subtitles, it’s fine, but for purists, it hurts. If we can get the Japanese audio and subtitles for it, I will easily give the show 5 stars, as this was one of my favorite sections of the series

This is an awesome anime! I learned about it when I was watching another show called Wangan Midnight. That show was good too but I believe Initial D tops that show. Wangan Midnight didn't have any side stories like Initial D, all they did was ride around in their cars and worry about losing power and how their car works. Initial d actually focused not just on cars but on some other stuff too.

I was reading some of the reviews. Follows the live action movie you say? It's vice versa buddy. They made a rip of the anime. Anyways, the best anime you could ever watch!!! Was into this wayyyyyyyyy before the drift scene came to US shores. 4 stars for the English voice actors. Don't sound right

Buttt, I havent bought it yet.. Can someone please say if its in English or Japanese w/Subtitles? Cause I want the original

This is a must buy for initial d fans. I had already seen the whole series and this just about covers everything up in 2 hours. A DEFINITE MUST BUY!!:D

This is a cool season it almost follows the live action Japanese film initial d it's a cool film. I hope they put the first two seasons in

This is the best anime best car show ever this is what I would buy if I love cars and motors

This is a must buy for any Initial D fan. They kept the background music & sound effects. The only downside is that they didn't use the same voice actors from first two season. Other than that it's a great movie. It's so much better to watch the actions than sit there & read the subtitles. I'm a big Initial D fan & have almost all the seasons & soundtracks. I hope Funimation would redo the first 2 seasons & bring Wangan Midnight anime. In closing, as said, I recommend this movie for any Initial D fan and/or car fanactics.
