This is an excellent show with great writing. Love the cast. With the addition of Wesley Wyndham-Price later in the show, comic relief is added. I wish iTunes would add seasons 3-5 as well. They're a little slow when it comes to adding shows.

This was such a good series. The day it ended was Joss W's first mistake. More Angel!!!

Angel is one of the best written, directed, acted and executed TV shows. It has all the classic sci fi and horror themes with great special effects and fight scenes. The pace is fast. But what makes this whole concept work are the huge over arching themes humanity, love, failure, redemption perseverance, fighting for the greater good, beyond any type of redemption you might personally gain. This little show about vampires, demons witches and all creepy thing that go bump in the night tells more about the human condition than any cop or hospital drama. As season two ramps up, you will find your self sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for the next episode.
