Quick and simple if you do not want an absorbing storyline. This is a very long music video. Mute the volume……. ☣️SUGGESTED SOLUTION ☢️ Put on ur best indoor noise canceling bass driver over the ear headphones from ur Bluetooth or wired to ur smartphone’s music playlists and put on ur own music. ☣️☢️for my personal suggested music ideas please see the second season review. I gave four suggestions. If u do not have them ….please find the music u love to go with this anime☣️☢️ Live Long and Prosper 🖖🏻

FLCL is not about story- it is an exploration of yearning. Yearning is confusion, heartbreak, delusion, imagination, hope (false hope), desire, and revulsion all rolled into one. FLCL is visually insane - but the emotion it portrays is absolutely authentic. It's a miracle that the animators, writers, and musicians were able to pull this off. When watching FLCL - turn off your need to understand/explain what's happening - and turn on your ability to experience the confusion of falling in love. That's where FLCL truly shines. FLCL remembers that - when you first encountered love - the first question that went through your mind was: "Is this really happening?" Followed immediately by: "Do I deserve this?" "Is this love really meant for me? Or someone else?" "Why does this person love me?" "What makes me so special?" IMO- FLCL goes where no other animé has EVER gone - to the heart of pure emotion.
  • BE WARNED DUBS ONLY

I am super annoyed that the description did not specify that I could only watch the dubbed version. I purchased Cowboy Bebop from the itunes store and could toggle between subtitled and dubbed versions. I like both Subs and Dubs depending on the show but for this FLCL specifically I fell in love with the characters as portrayed by Japanese voice actors when I was a kid. This probably sounds stupid, but this show is kind of like my personal "Catcher in the Rye" The way I experience the story changes as I age and becomes more poignant and meaningful with time. As a 32 year old man, this is a much more melancholy story than it was when I was 16 or so. Anyway, watching it with the dubs makes me feel the same way you might feel if you got an audiobook of Catcher in the Rye and hit play only to find it was tag-team narrated by Fran Drescher and Gilbert Gottfried but they were each inexplicably doing the voices of characters of the opposite gender. It's grating and dissatisfying and I wish I hadn't spent my money on it.

People. Stop complaining about not being able to have a JP version with subs. This show got praise by the creator for how accurate the dub was. Stop being weebs

It avoids fillers. They have their own style. They have their own saying: ´´Never Knows Best´´. Last but not least: the soundtrack. It’s beautiful. What more can I say?
