Excellent series! A fantastic up to date look at some of the toughest programs in the military. Highly recommend! (FYI... As has been mentioned, the title of the episode was erroneously titled "driver")
  • Air Force DRIVER? LOL Diver maybe?

Dearest iTunes, you spelled Diver with an additional "r" making it dRiver. You don't become a combat DRIVER... you become a combat DIVER. Just an FYI...
  • Good.

For a group so often misrepresented as "SEAL boat teams" and the like, it made me happy to see SWCCs finally get their moment in the spotlight. In fact, Discovery's recent "Secrets of SEAL Team Six" even used a fair bit of SWCC footage ... you'd think Discovery would know better, especially since they turned around and used some of that very footage in this episode, but that's outside of this review. I thought this was a very solid episode, but my only complaint is that solely covers BCT (Basic Crewman Training), and not CQT (Crewman Qualification Training). CQT is when a lot of the more high speed, specialized training takes place, but I suppose that since BCT is more of a gut check, perhaps it is better geared toward a show called "Surviving the Cut." One quick response to an earlier comment that recommended going into the Marines and "working your way over" ... The Navy is currently not accepting prior service applicants, so I wouldn't recommend this course of action. That's not to say that they'll never accept Prior Service ever again, but if you want to be Special Warfare, then go Special Warfare.

Amazing. This show captures what they have to fight through. There is no better way to explain it. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

Why go to a Army college when you want to be a SEAL? I'm not putting you down but my advice to you is try for the Naval Academy. I am a U.S. Marine Infantryman its a good place to start too before you head to Special Forces training. Rather than taking the chance on becoming injured during training and being stuck on a ship you could go Marines be contracted to a Combat job then see how it is in combat then work your way up the ladder. Good luck to you warrior Semper FI
