Words cannot adequetly describe how amazingly, 100% metal this show is! Where to start: the animation is really cool and unique (it reminds me of the Gorillaz), the characters are all awesome in their own ways (not to mention the amount of incredible, well-known and talented voice actors they've managed to get), the BGM, composed by none other than Brendon Small, is the best series of death, thrash and heavy metal riffs that could ever possibly be used while seeing high-performance, fully armed and armored, futuristic cars speed, shoot, crash, fly and burn. Which brings me to the next point, the action in this show is top cool. Like demolition derbies? Like lasers and explosions? Like the adrenaline rush of battle? This cartoon manages to combine all those and it is a glorious spectacle. There's a plethora of other reasons, but it really is something I can't describe, it's just something that needs to be experienced.

Incredible, high-quality, movie standard animation from a tv budget with stunning painted backgrounds and fluid action. But beyond it's great visuals, the storyline, while "radical and over the top" at times is engaging and develops interesting and likeable characters. The show almost seems to actively go against traphole cliche's /sometimes/. Without a doubt my favorite cartoon, and maybe even favorite show. I hope they get renewed for a second season, it would be firefly-heartbreaking to me if they didnt. I would recoomend this to anyone and everyone looking for a great cartoon.

The characters have been developed in a way that their friendship on the show seems natural compared to other current shows with a group of friends

This is just a really great show, I'm SHOCKED to see how poorly its doing ratings wise! The animation is crazy and fun, the characters are well developed and the plot packs enough action and humor to keep viewers of all ages entertained. One of the things I especially liked about Motorcity was the plot's ability to deliver itself as a kid's show on the surface, but still retain enough classic dystopian elements and character development that an older viewer doesn't feel like they're wasting their time with kiddie stuff. I highly recommend this show no matter what age or background you are!!

I'm a sophomore in college, and even I have come to adore this cartoon. The characters are unique, the music is awesome, and every episode has an otherworldly, Doctor Who-ish feel. Finally, the animation is just stunning (if you couldn't tell, the designer of the Gorillaz characters participated in this show.) It's also amusing that the lead singer from Twisted Sister voices one of the villains. Overall, whether it's for your kids or for you, Motorcity is a one of a kind series that you won't regret looking into.

To be honest, I started out convinced there would be boring plots, poor characterization, and average animation. I was totally proved wrong! The animation is fluid, the characterization is FANTASTIC, and the episodes are really riveting. It doesn't feel like you were watching for 20+ minutes, and really leaves you hoping for more. Gotta say, I am a fan!

Absolutely sublime from start to finish. After the first ten minutes I immediately fell in love with it. The visuals are stunning, the characters are likable, animation is top notch, soundtrack is incredible and suits the theme of the show, and will keep your attention until the end.

I watched this with high expectations due to a high rating from an online DA artist. Normally because I have such high standards, many shows fall short of my expectations. This show didn't. With fluid and eye riveting animation, the show catches the viewer's attention and the characters are lovable and relatable.
