Ali MacGraw, Yoga, Mind & Body

I have had this video years ago and it is truly worth owning… I know it is an old video, but someone needs to remove the 1993 text warnings at the beginning of the video and show how truly spectacular the environment and Ali is in this video.

Absolutely perfect... He reminds you to enjoy, not challenge. The setting is absolutely pristine, and his instruction is awesome.

I have been using this yoga video since it came out in 1993! I feel so relaxed after I do it. I was a complete beginner when I started to do it, and parts of it were hard. You do learn from it and get better and better at the poses. He gives good instructions. This is like a classic movie. It just doesn't age. The cinematography is beautiful. And unlike other exercise videos where I am just about to scream after only about the 10th time, nothing in this video annoys me.

And I love it every time. Its a great routine because while it may not burn tons of calories it will give you health and relaxation. This is a great video for someone just starting yoga. I recommend it up and down left and right, his voice is great, the setting is great, the routine is great.

Seriously, full of disclaimers and not content to assess style, tone or applicability to what one needs from the video? Useless...

I have enjoyed the yoga video for years as a VHS tape -- so glad it is now available for my iPad. Following the breathing technique is very relaxing and the workout is both calming and energizing. Some poses are beyond my flexibility level so I do alternative poses. Many mornings I just do the first 20 minutes or so to start my day on a positive note. Now I can take it with me when I travel.
