Description

What happens when someone that you’ve mourned and buried mysteriously appears at your doorstep as if not a single day has gone by? The lives of the people of Arcadia, Missouri were forever changed when their deceased loved ones miraculously returned, causing them to confront the emotional complexities of their relationships. Now, the phenomenon continues as more new residents emerge – including Langston family matriarch (Margaret, played by Michelle Fairley) who holds the keys to a dark secret that will have consequences for the entire town. Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps) continues his investigation, but through a more personal lens. After an action-packed Season 1 finale that left Arcadia in chaos, the show will return to its deeply emotional core.

I watched the first season and I was impressed by the story, the characters and the mystery. The events move fast and the show gets really interesting the moment you start watching it. Don’t bother comparing to a book or another TV Show, just enjoy the show for what it is. The first season ended with a brilliant cliffhanger and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this season becomes more impressive and engaging and doesn’t lose it’s value by following clichés. I strongly suggest you watch both seasons. The first one was interesting enough for me to make me buy this season pass without watching any trailers or sneak peeks.
