…for kids… what a good way to ruin the mlp franchise…

I do love this show, but as the season progress, seems like it is getting more boring. I wish it was a bit more original, the new episodes are about pie? Ugh. I mean, it's okay. 🙂🙂

I normally don't buy TV shows, but this is something I want to keep a copy in my computer forever. Because I know when I became old, watching this show again will undoubtedly make me feel "Yesterday Once More." I could download these episodes else where for free, but this show inspired me so much that I feel guilty not paying for it. I hope my support will help the crew to continue their excellent work.

Where’s volume 9, the second half of season 5? the first episode of that volume should’ve been up by now!

By reading this review I'm assuming you are already sold on the idea of talking ponies. This season is, without a doubt, the best yet. Almost every episode is great, and almost all of them manage to one-up the last one. This season also does a great job on balancing and spreading tone and genre between the episodes. While "Slice of Life" was great in the humor and randomness department, "Amending Fences" exceeded in storytelling. This season also ends on a high note: I personally think "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?" Is the best of them all. I have no idea how Hasbro can manage to do better than this for the second half for the season, but I'm sure that they will.

Five stars to MLP:FIM for the feat of maintining a high "decent episode / clunker" ratio five seasons in. The writing staff continues to, for the most part, manufacture silk purses out of the sow ears passed to it by the toy company sitting atop the pile; and the animation continues to improve. While the increased grounding in real-world technology and problems (and the general unmasking of Equestria as not, perhaps, the earthly paradise viewers once thought it was) make Season 5's iteration of the show perhaps not so religiously attractive as it once was, it remains a solid cartoon. All that said, I have to regretfully stop purchasing episodes here after this "volume" and move to a distributor (Google Play?) that offers discounted season passes. $78 for a full season of HD is pretty stiff.

So Vol.8 charges 39 dollars in total,while other Volumes are lower than $30?I bought a few episodes because I thought the season pass would be released some time later or at the end of this half-season,an complete-my-season offer would come out. Apparently,neither comes true.That's just a bad trick to raise the price,while it's a good way to lose customers' loyalty.I will continue to support and buy the show ,but from now on just a few episodes instead of the entire season:(

I bought this assuming it was a season pass, I had to hold off on purchasing until I had the extra cash for it I guess I should have read the reviews first It says "purchased" but I have to buy the newer episodes separately

I thought I bought the season and only got the current episodes. I had to buy additional episodes as they came out. Why is this happening? Who am I supposed to complain to?
