    I’m usually stingy with the stars, but I’d give this one six sparklers if I could. I was expecting a piece of fluff befitting the subject, but instead found a very smart, sharply written drama with fascinating, complex characters and surprise twists that actually made perfect sense within the confines of the story. Superb performances from the two leading characters. Don’t let the title or the network full you; this is quality complex drama. Highly recommended!

    Alongside many other reviewers, I am surprised Lifetime produced a show of such tone an caliber. Production, acting and writing all of which would stand on their own in any of the well-respected entertainment networks. If you are interested in psychology (character studies), along with the darker extremes of the human condition — e.g., cynicism, groupthink (a la Stanford prison experiment), power dynamics, greed… give it a shot.

    I have watched a lot of tv shows in my life, but this by far one of the best. I originally heard of the show because I downloaded the first episode since it was free, and after watching it I was hooked. Never have I watched a show like this and it truly is a good one. I told myself not to spend money on a tv show, but after buying this show it was definitely worth it. This is something I know I can rewatch over and over again and I am so glad I heard of this wonderful show. Lifetime did great with this, hopefully a season 2 will be coming soon.
