The Other Side of the Door

Not only was this bad. It was boring and just a run of the mill horror movie. Nothing stood out to me. Just cheesy jump scares and really bad cgi effects. Avoid at all costs!

love me some old-fashioned spook fest

The premise itself is good and the previews made this seem frightening. There were a few suspenseful moments, but not many.This could have been so much scarier, but the main problem is there was nothing really new. As usual, the main character always does some very stupid things (usually by not listening to serious warnings) and good people die for no reason. As I've always been told, "Don't be afraid of the dead. It's the living we need to fear."

Absolutely terrific. This is the way a horror movie should always be. No silly happy endings for a super natural thriller. The introduction of an ancient culture keeps it a mystery and allows the twists and turns to be absolutely new and unpredictable. It's been a long time since a horror was made that I didn't have to force my self to sit through. I gave this movie 5 stars.

It's really bad. Lame. Stay away.

This was very disappointing. I am so happy that I waited to rent this because had I bought it I would have been royally angry for wasting money. Although not the worst horror film ever made, it is not scary in the slightest, but worse than that is its very poor script and foolish deicions made by the characters (mainly the mother).

The Other Side of the Door is not horrifying.
